\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kirchsiefen-Teiche<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir starteten unseren Rundgang am Kirchsiefenweg. Hier durch den Laubwald flie\u00dft der Altenrather Bach und bef\u00fcllt acht ehemalige Fischteiche. Sch\u00f6n sehen sie aus und viele Tierarten lebe hier. Aber nach den Starkregenereignissen von 2021 kam es zu Diskussionen, ob man die Teiche nicht besser trocken legt (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wahnerheide.net\/was-passiert-mit-den-kirchsiefen-teichen-bei-altenrath,829,10.html\" target=\"_blank\">hier<\/a> zu lesen). \u00dcbrigens flie\u00dft der Bach genauso wie die B\u00e4che in den S\u00fcnger Bergen in die S\u00fclz, die hier bei Altenrath bald in die Agger m\u00fcndet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Man k\u00f6nnte denken, der Bach w\u00fcrde Kirchsiefen hei\u00dfen. Aber dieser Kirchsiefen Weg beginnt hier nur und f\u00fchrt zum n\u00f6rdlich liegenden Kirchsiefen (auch ein Bach der in die S\u00fclz m\u00fcndet). Nun ist allerdings komisch, dass die Teiche &#8222;Kirchsiefen Teiche&#8220; hei\u00dfen.
